There’s a link to video of an orange orb on the Coast to Coast site.   Tim Binnall reports on an orange orb sighting and video of the orb from South Carolina.  You can also watch the video on YouTube, posted by the witness Debra Thomson. (The comments are interesting. For example, how anyone can seriously suggest the orb is a “Chinese lantern. . . “)

Interesting video; it’s clear, and shows a lit from within orange orb moving rapidly around in the night sky.  The video is five minutes and twenty-one seconds long. I’m always curious about reports of orange orbs, and watching videos of those orbs, so that I can compare them to the orange orb I saw decades ago.

While the orb I saw was orange, and appeared to be lit from within, it did not spin or rotate (or give the illusion of) as this orb does. “My” orb also did not move frenetically around the sky. In fact, the orb I saw was at first stationary; it seemed to be waiting for me. As soon as it “saw” me, or, as soon as I said to myself “What the hell is that?!” it zoomed from the top of the hill approximately a mile away,  to across the road from me. Then it followed me. I had the feeling the entire time I was watching this orb that it was aware of me, knew what I was thinking, and was playing with me.

The following  from the witness in South Carolina echoes this experience:

Perhaps the most intriguing insight from Thompson was that she felt like the object somehow knew that she was filming it, which echoes other UFO witnesses who have reported some kind of psychic connection with the object that they encountered. [Tim Binnall, Coast to Coast]

The orb I saw was large; the size of a basketball. It’s hard to say how large the orb was in this video, but it does seem a good size. Bigger than some colored orb lights — of which there are now hundreds of videos — you can see on YouTube and elsewhere.

I’ve seen Chinese lanterns. They are beautiful but once you see them, it’s obvious what they are. And once you’ve seen, as I have, many types of UFOs, including orange orbs, there’s no mistaking the two.

Both the orb I saw and the Thompson orb did not have any sound. (True, I was on the back of a motorcycle during my sighting and it’s possible the sound of the bike drowned out any sound from the orb.)

Aside from the missing time that was a part of my orange orb sighting, I’ve always wondered why it was I saw this thing so many decades ago, when reports of such sightings seemed to be nil. I searched for years for similar reports. Then, suddenly, years later, people started to report these things. But that’s another aspect to think about another day.
